Before attending law school he worked full-time running his family’s restaurant while attending college full time. Once in law school, he got a job with Attorney Paul J. Duffy as a law clerk, learning the practice of law from the ground up. Throughout law school Attorney Vasiliades kept his job with Attorney Duffy, all the while still running his family’s business on the weekends and still finding time to engage in law-school related activities, such as the immigration-law clinic and the moot-court competition. In addition, Attorney Vasiliades interned for Judge Nazarian on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals during the summer of 2014. Here, he honed his writing skills and learned to evaluate cases on a more intellectual level, supplementing his more practical knowledge of the legal system that he developed working for Attorney Duffy.
